To provide hope, healing, and restoration through the truth of God's Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Counselors
Kent and Karalee Tollakson stand as a testament to God's enduring faithfulness. Married since 1999, they have journeyed a painful road and understand the need for hope, healing, and restoration.
Their passion is to come alongside marriages. Due to their own journey, they feel especially called to minister to marriages impacted by pornography and sexual addictions.
They both earned a M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Masters International University of Divinity and have been certified through the International Association of Biblical Counselors. They have been counseling couples since 2012.
WHAT IS BIBLICAL COUNSELING
Biblical counseling is Christ-centered, Holy Spirit empowered, loving and practical application of biblical truths with the goal of spiritual maturity and fruitfulness.
THE SOURCE OF HOPE
Life is messy. The Bible is full of messy people, messy scenarios, messy lives and a very GOOD God. As believers of Jesus, we live in a messy world and our lives are impacted BUT... (oh the glorious but) our HOPE lies securely in a very GOOD God who continues to show Himself faithful in the midst of the mess.
God is GOOD- always.

The goal of Cornerstone Counseling is to provide a safe and compassionate place to process mess and find HOPE. God is the master at taking broken things and restoring them to beauty. The Bible is full of such stories. Our world is too.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
